Supervision built
for queer clinicians.

All supervision formats meet your state licensing board's requirements for pre-licensed therapists. Every supervisory relationship begins with a clear consultee contract and genuine investment in your clinical development.

Supervision Requirements at a Glance

8 max

AAMFT standard for group supervision — ensures quality and attention

Requirements vary by state licensing board. Always verify current requirements with your state's licensing authority.

Individual Supervision

One-on-one, every week.

Individual supervision is the core of the licensure process — and the place where the deepest clinical growth happens. Sessions are tailored entirely to your caseload, your growth edges, and where you are in your development as a clinician.

Licensure compliance

  • Counts toward individual supervision hours
  • Weekly or biweekly — your choice
  • Direct observation available within individual format
  • Hours documented for board submission
  • Consultee contract provided at start

Clinical focus

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning
  • Countertransference and parallel process
  • Working with queer and trans clients
  • Ethical decision-making
  • Documentation and clinical writing

Group Supervision

Community in the clinical room.

Small-group supervision with other queer and LGBTQ+ clinicians. There is something irreplaceable about being witnessed by peers who share your experience — the learning is different, the support is different, and the countertransference work goes deeper.

Licensure compliance

  • Counts toward group supervision hours
  • Maximum 8 supervisees per group (AAMFT standard)
  • Weekly cohort meetings
  • Hours documented for board submission
  • Rotating case presentations

Clinical focus

  • Peer case consultation and feedback
  • Shared clinical frameworks for LGBTQ+ clients
  • Group dynamics as clinical learning
  • Identity and intersectionality in practice
  • Building your professional community

Direct Observation

Real-time feedback on your clinical work.

Direct observation is required by many state licensing boards — and one of the most powerful learning experiences available. I observe your actual clinical work and provide structured feedback in a supportive, non-evaluative frame.

Licensure compliance

  • Meets state direct observation requirements
  • Live or recorded session review
  • Structured observation and feedback form
  • Counts toward required observation hours
  • Available within individual supervision

Clinical focus

  • Real-time clinical presence and pacing
  • Intervention timing and delivery
  • Nonverbal and relational attunement
  • Queer-affirming clinical language
  • Feedback grounded in your clinical goals

Peer Consultation

Already licensed. Still growing.

Licensure is not the finish line. Peer consultation for licensed MFTs navigating complex cases, ethical dilemmas, vicarious trauma, or the ongoing work of deepening competency with LGBTQ+ clients.

Licensure compliance

  • For licensed MFTs (not pre-licensure hours)
  • Individual or small-group format
  • Flexible scheduling
  • No long-term commitment required
  • Focused on your specific clinical questions

Clinical focus

  • Complex case consultation
  • Ethical dilemmas and dual relationships
  • Vicarious trauma and sustainability
  • Advanced LGBTQ+ clinical competency
  • Supervision of supervision (for supervisors)

Fees

Transparent about cost.

Supervision is an investment in your career — and it should be one you can actually afford. Fees are discussed openly during the consultation call.

Individual Supervision

Weekly or biweekly

Sliding scale available. Fee discussed at consultation.

Group Supervision

Weekly cohort

Lower per-session cost than individual. Cohort openings are limited.

Peer Consultation

As needed

Single sessions or ongoing. No long-term commitment required.

A note on fees

I believe supervision should be accessible. I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for supervisees who need them. If cost is a barrier, please say so during our consultation — I'd rather find a way to make it work than have you go without affirming supervision.

All fees, payment schedules, and policies are outlined clearly in the consultee contract before we begin. No surprises.
